The house

A NOBLE HOUSE IN THE HEART OF THE HIMALAYAS

comfort, conviviality and authenticity

Nimmu House is a noble house that was built a century ago for the cousin of the King of Ladakh. It is nestled at 10 000 feets of altitude surrounded by Himalayan panoramas. Converted in 2012 into a charming glamping retreat, Nimmu keeps its authenticity by respecting Ladakhi traditions and offering modern comfort. Travellers from all over the world are today staying in 5 traditional rooms on the first floor and 7 deluxe tents spread in the orchard. The property maintained its original Buddhist temples and cattle, in which yaks and dzos rest quietly.

A JEWEL OF LADAKHI ARCHITECTURE

Nimmu House is an uncontested emblem of the region and its renovation project aims to contribute to the preservation of local heritage.
