A noble house in the heart of the Himalayas
Comfort, conviviality and authenticity
Nimmu House is a noble house that was built a Century ago for the cousin of the King of Ladakh. It is nestled at 10 000 feets of altitude in a green setting surrounded by Himalayan panoramas. Converted in 2012 into a charming boutique hotel, travellers from all over the world are today staying in 4 traditional rooms on the first floor and 7 deluxe tents spread in the orchard. The property maintained its original buddhist temples and cattle, in which yaks and dzos rest quietly. This intimate and convivial setting was renovated with respect to Ladakhi tradition yet offering modern comfort, and kept all its charm and authenticity.
