LADAKH  ITINERARY

6 NIGHTS STAY CHARM TOUR

Day 1
You will be welcomed at the airport by your driver and start to drive to Nimmu (3100m), located 45 minutes away. The first day is an acclimatizing day; relax and enjoy Nimmu House garden, drink lots of water, tea, and juices. After lunch at Nimmu House, take a breath with a 15-minute Pranayam session guided by our yoga master. Have a visit to the house to understand the Ladakhi lifestyle and enjoy the beautiful paintings and carvings. Share a drink at the bonfire before dinner.

Day 2
After breakfast, you will go to Seaspol, a 30-minute drive from Nimmu, to discover the meditation caves and their amazing paintings. From there, you will continue to Alchi (15-minute drive), one of the oldest monasteries of Ladakh, from the 11th century. Enjoy its unique structure and location in the middle of an apricot orchard. Have lunch at Alchi, and continue your day to Mangyu Monastery, rich in history. Return to Nimmu House to relax and enjoy the bonfire and dinner.

Day 3
After breakfast, you will start at 8:30 AM to the Nubra Valley. This will be a long journey to Summur (around 6 hours). You will cross the Khardung La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at 5600m. Your driver will prepare a simple picnic on the way down before reaching Khardung village. After this break, you will continue to Summur for your check-in at Lchang Nang Retreat (3000m). Enjoy an hour walk in the village, followed by a relaxing yoga session, dinner, bonfire, and stargazing at Lchang Nang Retreat.

Day 4
After a morning yoga session, have breakfast and start your Nubra Valley exploration day. You will walk to a waterfall to enjoy the valley views and continue to Ensa Monastery, a jewel hanging on the mountain. Continue on the small road to Charasa, an old palace of the Nubra King, with a stop on the way to discover some petroglyphs. Head down for lunch at the oasis restaurant. In the afternoon, take a walk around the secret Trisha Lake before returning to Summur to enjoy dinner and the bonfire at Lchang Nang Retreat.

Day 5
Have breakfast before following the Shyok Valley road. You will have an option to visit Tso Pangong, a large lake at the Tibetan border (this adds 3–4 hours of extra driving this day). If you choose this, leave before 8:00 AM from Summur to enjoy a picnic on the lake banks. From Pangong, return to the Indus Valley in the afternoon for your check-in and tea at Stok Palace. This option takes 8–9 hours of driving. Alternatively, you can cross Wari La (5400m) with a simple picnic near Chemrey Monastery, then visit the monastery before continuing to Stok Palace for check-in, tea, and dinner. The shorter route is approximately 5 hours. Enjoy a traditional dinner in the royal kitchen and stay overnight at Stok Palace.

Day 6
After breakfast, take a tour of the palace and its museum. You can also attend the morning prayer at the palace temple. Have your lunch break in the orchard. Enjoy an afternoon walk in the village or spend your free afternoon in Leh to visit the old city or go shopping. Return to Stok Palace for dinner and overnight stay.

LADAKH  ITINERARY

9 NIGHTS STAY CHARM TOUR

Day 1

You will be welcome at the airport by your driver, and start to drive to Nimmu (3100m), located at 45 min. Day 2

After the breakfast you will go to Saspol, at 30 min. drive of Nimmu to discover the meditation caves and their amazing paintings. From there you will continue to Alchi (15 min. drive) who is one of the oldest monasteries of Ladakh, from the 11th century. Enjoy this particular structure and location in the middle of apricots tree orchard. Have lunch at Alchi, and continue your day to Mangyu monastery important by this history. Back to Nimmu House, to relax, enjoy the bone fire and the dinner.

Day 3

After the breakfast you will reach the village of Sumda Chan on the Zanskar valley (45 min. drive) for a walk a visit of the monastery. On the way back you will stop on the Zanskar river bank for a luxury and exclusive picnic. Back to Nimmu House for a rest before the bonfire and the dinner.

Day 4

After the breakfast you will start at 08.30 to the Nubra valley. This will be a long journey drive to Summur (around 6 hours). You will cross the Kardung La, one of the highest motorable road in the world at 5600m. Your driver will settle a picnic on the way down before reaching Kardung village. After this break you will continue to Summur for your check in at Lchang Nang retreat (3000m). Enjoy an hour of walk in the village, before a relaxing yoga session. Dinner, bone fire and stars gazing at Lchang Nang retreat.

Day 5

After a morning yoga session, have your breakfast and start your Nubra valley exploration day. You will drive to Diskit monastery (45 min) , one of the biggest of the valley and have a walk on the Hundar sand dunes. Back to Summur for a cultural show, a dinner and enjoy the bone fire.

Day 6

You will have a walk to a waterfall to enjoy the view on the valley and continue to Ensa monastery, a jewel hanging at the mountain. Continue on the small road to Charasa, an old palace of the Nubra king with a stop on the way to discover some petroglyphs. Down for a lunch at the oasis restaurant. In the afternoon you will have walk around the secret Trisha lake before back to Summur to enjoy the dinner and bone fire at Lchang Nang Retreat.

Day 7

Have a breakfast before start to follow the Shyok valley road. There will be for you an option to go to Tso pangong, a huge lake at the Tibetan border (this will take 3 to 4 hours extra drive on this day). In this case, plan to leave before 08.00 from Summur to enjoy a picnic on the lake banks. From Pangong you will come back to the Indus valley on afternoon for your check in and tea at Stok palace. This option will take 8 to 9 hours drive. If you don’t feel this long journey on the car, you will cross the Wari La (5400m) and have a simple picnic around Chemrey monastery. Have a free visit at the monastery before continue to Stok for your check in and tea at the palace. This shorter way will take around 5 hours’ drive. Have a traditional dinner in the royal kitchen of Stok Palace and overnight there.

Day 8

After your breakfast, have a tour of the palace and his museum. You can also assist at the morning prier at the palace temple. Have your lunch break in the orchard. Enjoy an afternoon walk in the village or spend an free afternoon in Leh to visit the old city or do some shopping. Back to Stok Palace for dinner and overnight there.

Day 9

After the breakfast, have a visit in Leh, with an heritage walk (2 hours), with a lunch (not included) at Namza café, a designer and relaxing place. Free afternoon for shopping or relaxing. Back to the Stok Palace for a dinner and overnight there.

Day 10

Is time to back to the airport, after an early breakfast.
