Welcome to Nimmu & Acclimatization
Arrive and settle into the serenity of Nimmu. In Ladakh trekking, acclimatization is safety priority #1. This day is dedicated to resting and letting your body adjust to the altitude. We begin your journey inward with a guided Pranayama and meditation session, setting a peaceful tone for the days ahead.
Cultural Immersion in Nimmu Village
Step back in time with a guided visit to Nimmu Village. Wander through narrow alleys, observe traditional Ladakhi architecture, and learn about the local way of life from our expert local guide.
The Ney Valley Trek
⏱ Duration: 3 HoursLace up your boots for a half-day trek through the stunning Ney Valley. This moderate walk introduces you to the raw beauty of the region, featuring dramatic rock formations and verdant oasis patches unique to the Ladakh landscape.
The High Trail – Hemis Shukpachan to Tingmosgang
⏱ Duration: 6 HoursThe highlight of your adventure. Begin on a full-day trek along a famous section of the Sham Valley Trek, often cited as one of the best routes for trekking in Ladakh. You will walk from the juniper-rich village of Hemis Shukpachan to the historic capital of Tingmosgang, enjoying panoramic views and the profound silence of the Himalayas.

Acclimatization is Key Ladakh is a high-altitude desert.
Our itinerary uses a “Rest First” policy on Day 1 to prevent altitude sickness. Please drink plenty of water and avoid strenuous activity immediately upon arrival.
