The house

A NOBLE HOUSE IN THE HEART OF THE HIMALAYAS

Comfort, conviviality and authenticity

Nimmu House is a noble house that was built a Century ago for the cousin of the King of Ladakh. It is nestled at 10 000 feets of altitude surrounded by Himalayan panoramas.
Converted in 2012 into a charming glamping retreat, Nimmu keeps its authenticity by respecting Ladakhi traditions and offering modern comfort.
Travellers from all over the world are today staying in 5 traditional rooms on the first floor and 7 deluxe tents spread in the orchard.
The property maintained its original buddhist temples and cattle, in which yaks and dzos rest quietly.
